OZONE TREATMENT APPARATUS OF ORGANIC SLUDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject ozone treatment apparatus for oxidatively decomposing org. sludge by a reduced amt. of ozone. SOLUTION: An ozone treatment apparatus of org. sludge is equipped with an ozone reaction tank 12 into which org. sludge 11 and ozone gas 13 are introduced and the sludge receiving tank 16 connected to the ozone reaction tank 12. The org. sludge 11 is brought into contact with the ozone gas 13 in the liquid phase region 17 of the ozone reaction tank 12 and foamed to become ozone-containing sludge 15 to rise to a froth region 18. The ozone-containing sludge 15 in the froth region 18 overlows an overflow region 19 to enter the sludge receiving tank 16 to further advance the oxidative decomposition of sludge.
