PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency of an electric control unit by covering a cooling fan with a fan cover, forming the fan cover with aluminum alloy die casting, and fixing an aluminum base plate surface of the electric control unit tightly to an outer surface of the fan cover. SOLUTION: A power generator driven by an engine is provided with a stator, flange member, outer rotor, cooling fan and fan cover 78. Further, a cyclo-converter unit 23 having an aluminum base plate 91 on which electronic parts are mounted is provided as an electric control unit for converting output from the power generator into electricity. In this case, the fan cover 78 is made through aluminum alloy die casting, fixed of a side end surface of the engine with a plurality of bolts. Then, a case 92 housing the aluminum base plate 91 of the cyclo-converter unit 23 is fixed to the fan cover 78. With this configuration, the cyclo converter unit 23 is efficiently cooled and temperature thereof is prevented from rising.
