PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool capable of accurately pulling out highly densely clustered optical connectors and performing the pull-out operation on the optical connector as well as on the optical fibers extending therefrom without causing deformation, damage or the like. SOLUTION: This tool is the one used in pulling out an optical connector from the female part of the housing on the side of the optical connector adaptor, and the tool is equipped with the optical connector holding part 23 consisting of a movable lug 30 and a fixed lug 33 that clamp both sides of the optical connector. The fixed lug 33 is formed with a slit 31b communicating the inside and the outside of a connector storing space that becomes a circular cavity between the lugs 30, 33.
