PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of having an optimum temperature in a luminaire body and optimum lamp light output according to a kind of an option member attached to a light-transmitting opening of the luminaire body. SOLUTION: This luminaire has lamps 3, a reflection plate 2 for reflecting light output of the lamps 3 toward the front face, and a luminaire body 1 storing the lamps 3 and the reflection plate 2 and formed with a light-transmitting opening on the front face side. A distance between the lamps 3 and the reflection plate 2 can be varied according to an option member (e.g. a louver 5 or a panel) attached to the light-transmitting opening.
