PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exhaust deterioration due to the spitting of combustion gas into a fuel passage, in a two-cycle engine where air and fuel are fed into a combustion chamber via a crank chamber and a scavenging passage, and another system respectively. SOLUTION: In this two-cycle engine, a fuel passage 10 is connected to an injection passage 9 both the ends of which are opened to the top and bottom dead center sides of the intake port 6a of an air passage 6, to suck fuel into an injection passage 9 at the time of an up stroke of a piston 4, and push out the fuel into a combustion chamber 5 at the time of a down stroke. In this case, a collection chamber 33 is provided in the passage 10, and the fuel, back- flowing in the passage 10 by the spitting of high-pressure combustion gas into the passage 9, enters into the chamber 33 to prevent the deteriration of exhaust due to the mixing of the fuel infiltrated into the passage 6 with air.
