SINGLE SHAFT ECCENTRIC SCREW PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single shaft eccentric screw pump which can simplify its structure thereby facilitate its reduction in size and weight and reduce manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A stator 11 has a spiral female screw hole 11a of an elliptic section, a pitch of which is twice as large as that of a rotor 10. A male screw rotor 10 of a circle section is inserted into the female screw hole 11a rotatably and movably up and down. The rotor 10 is integrally formed with a boss 10a at one end portion thereof (on a side of a pump housing 8). Both ends of an inner shaft constituting a main part of a flexible wire are inserted into and pressure-fixed to bosses 7a of cylindrical connecting metal pieces 7. The boss 7a is formed as opening one end of the connecting metal piece 7, whereas a proximal portion 7b of the other end of the connecting metal piece 7 is inserted into a boss 10a disposed on one end of the rotor 10, and fixed thereto so as to rotate together with the rotor 10 by a coupling pin 5. The proximal portion 7b of the other end of the connecting metal piece 7 is inserted into a center hole 2a of a drive shaft 2 and connected thereto so as to rotate together with the drive shaft 2 by a coupling pin 5 which is directed perpendicularly to the drive shaft 2.
