PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a damping action in a torque transmission device. SOLUTION: A liquid clutch such as a Foettinger clutch or a torque converter comprises at least one pump impeller 7 capable of connecting without relative revolution with a driving shaft 1 provided on a driving unit, at least one turbine runner 10 capable of connecting without relative revolution with an input shaft 14 of a power train wanted to be driven, according to circumstances, at least one stator 12 arranged between the pump impeller 7 and the turbine runner 10, a housing 2 for housing at least the pump impeller and the turbine runner, and at least one torsional vibration damper 30 effective between the driving shaft 1 and the input shaft 14. At least one torsional vibration dumper 30 is arranged on a force-transmitting pass between the driving shaft 1 and the pump impeller 7.
