PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder/supporter for speedily holding an iron, which is still hot, just after use and avoiding the danger of careless touch. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a protecting/supporting body 16 made of any suitable heat insulating material such as rubber, cloth or plastic, designed so as to movably hold an iron board 17 and equipped with the shape and dimension suited to the shape and dimension of the iron board 17 so as to cover the full length of this board 17. This protecting/supporting body 16 is composed of one or more components, provided with a rib protruded inside for housing the iron board 17 with a little pressure and further equipped with the property of heat insulation to the outside of the board itself. Besides, this protecting/supporting body 16 is provided with a pleated part suited to irons of various sizes.
