SOLUTION: This control device is provided with an injector for directly injecting gaseous fuel to a combustion chamber. In this case, it is provided with an injection required time calculating means (S12) for calculating the time T1 required for fuel injection of the injector on the basis of the rotating state of an engine, an injectable time calculating means (S14) for calculating the time T2 in which fuel injection of the injector is possible on the basis of the rotating state of the engine, and an intake stroke injection control means (S20) for performing the intake stroke injection only for the time T1-T2 which is the difference between the fuel injection required time T1 and the fuel injectable time T2 when the injection required time T1 is longer-than the injectable time T2, and for performing the compression stroke injection for the injectable time T2.
