<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the bands of respective VC and to effectively use the band of a line VC while the contract band of VP is kept by selecting VP whose calculated second transmission schedule time keeping transmission interval following the contracted band at every VP is the earliest, judging whether the selected cell can be transmitted or not and transmitting it when 'yes' is judged. SOLUTION: The cell buffer 111 of a cell buffer part 110 temporarily accumulates a cell. A cell buffer address memory 112 stores a cell buffer address for queuing ATM cells for respective VC in the cell buffer. The cell buffer address memory 112 stores information on queue lengths for respective VC and VP. A cell buffer writing control circuit 113 writes the cell received from SAR into the cell buffer. A cell buffer reading control circuit 114 reads the cell which is to be transmitted to an optical module from the cell buffer.</p> |
