PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition which has a high gloss and high smoothness excellent in design properties, can be uniformly colored, and can produce a thermosetting molding material with a high hot water resistance. SOLUTION: The composition is formed by dissolving, in a crosslinkable monomer, an unsaturated polyester resin formed by blending and reacting (a) a mol of 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, (b) b mol of anα,β-unsaturated polybasic acid or an anhydride thereof, (c) c mol of a saturated polybasic acid or an anhydride thereof, (d) d mol of a polyhydric alcohol, and (e) e mol of dicyclopentadiene as raw materials in such a way that the blending molar ratios (a+b+c)/a/b/c/d/e may fall within 1/0.01-0.8/0.2-0.99/0-0.79/0.4-1.8/0.05-1. |
