PURPOSE: A heat exchanger is provided to reduce fuel cost and prevent environmental contamination. CONSTITUTION: In a heat exchanger(1) where a fitting(10) is positioned within a radiant tube(100), a main body(140) is arranged at an end of the fitting, and an inner tube(150) is arranged within the fitting, a waste heat of the exhaust gas emitted through the radiant tube is recovered, and an air being supplied to a burner(115) of the radiant tube is heated, a plurality of heat absorbing fins(20) and heat radiating fins(170) are arranged at inner and outer peripheries of a straight line section and a cap of the fitting. The fitting has an outer diameter(d1) formed by the heat absorbing fins and which approximately corresponds to an inner diameter(d2) of the radiant tube. Thus, when the fitting is inserted into the radiant tube, the fitting is firmly supported within the radiant tube against an external vibration, to thereby prevent damage to the fitting.
