摘要 PURPOSE: A method for determining combustion rate of grained coal and cokes is achieved by distinguishing carbons of cokes loaded in blast furnace and derived from blown grained coal to determine burning rate of them consumed in entire inner area of the furnace CONSTITUTION: A determination method of combustion rate of grained coal and cokes in blast furnace comprises a first step of calculating carbon content from a relative strength ratio obtained by means of X-ray diffraction analysis for wet dust in the furnace. The strength ratio means a ratio of X-ray diffraction peak of turbostratic structure in the wet dust relative to that of graphite structure, that is 1.14. The method includes a second step of multiplying this ratio by a relative strength of X-ray diffraction peak of turbostratic structure originated from cokes in wet dust to calculate a relative strength of graphite structure. By subtracting the strength of graphite in such cokes from that of the entire graphite, the rest value is a relative strength of graphite in grained coal and used in calculating the carbon content.
