PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent developer from being leaked and to prevent a faulty image such as end fogging from occurring by setting the surface roughness of the peripheral surface of an end on which a sealing member abuts larger than that of the peripheral surface opposed to an latent image carrier. SOLUTION: An end leakage preventing member 21 being the sealing member consists of Moltopren (R) whose width is 5 mm, and is made to abut on an elastic blade 11, the surface of a developing sleeve 10 and a developer container frame body so as to prevent toner from being leaked from a gap between the blade 11 and the developer container frame body. The surface roughness of a part of the sleeve 10 corresponding to a printing guaranteeing area is set to about 1.2μm, while the surface roughness of the sleeve 10 at the part on which the member 21 abuts is made larger, for example, 2.5μm. Thus, both ends of the elastic blade reduce the end fogging conventionally occurring corresponding to a position of the end leakage preventing member part while keeping necessary abutting pressure in order to prevent the toner from being leaked. Simultaneously, the miniaturization of the image forming device is realized. |
