mechanical engineering; two-stroke engines. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical housing with fitted-in rotor form ring space divided by housing longitudinal walls into chambers accommodating segment pistons. Closed elliptical slot with semi-round cross-section is made on outer surface of rotor. Semispherical seat accommodating a ball is made in piston. Piston engages with rotor slot by this ball. Invention reduces to minimum harmful volumes in filling underpiston chambers communicating with combustion chambers by means of bypass channels. EFFECT: improved efficiency of scavenging of two-stroke internal combustion engines. 2 dwg
