PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to change a graphical interface to respective country language displays by composing a screen to be displayed on a monitor in respective operation modes of bit map images and integrating plural operation areas into one image. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 can grasp the operation mode of a currently executed application program by referring to mode holding means 31. An operation indication screen storage means 32 stores the bit map images to be displayed as one screen on the monitor in the respective operation modes. When an operation mode is changed, an indication screen selecting means 33 reads a new operation mode out of the mode holding means 31 and selects and reads corresponding bit map images out of the operation indication screen storage means 32. A frame memory setting means 34 writes the read bit map images corresponding to one screen to a VRAM. This image are displayed as monitor images on a screen display unit through a display control part.
