PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soft hard twisted woven fabric excellent in stretchability and a dry feeling in a polyester hard twisted woven fabric. SOLUTION: This hard twisted woven fabric is a woven fabric using a filament yarn obtained by subjecting a filament yarn substantially comprising polypropylene terephthalate and having <=1.5% Uster unevenness and <=0.50 standard deviation of shrinkage percentage in boiling water to hard twisting at >=15,000 twist multiplier K as a warp yarn and/or a weft yarn. The woven fabric has >=95% recovery percentage of elongation at 30% elongation and <=392 cN/cm elongation stress at 30% elongation. The twist multiplier K=T×D1/2 [T is the number of twists per m of yarn length; D is the fineness (dtex×0.9) of the filament yarn].
