PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interpolate a data deficient area of curved surface data so that the area has natural texture compatible with its periphery. SOLUTION: An interpolation part 101 smoothly interpolates the data deficient area according to curved surface data (f) including the deficient area and outputs the smoothly interpolated curved surface data, and a texture generation part 102 extracts high-frequency components of the data of the properly specified non-deficient area and outputs them as desirable texture. A mixing part 103 pastes the texture to the smoothly interpolated curved surface data nearby the deficient area and outputs curvature data (f) which does not have no deficient area and has the natural texture.
