PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily check an operation of a watthour meter. SOLUTION: The power distribution detector has a pulse detect part 13 for receiving measured pulse signals outputted from an infrared light-emitting element set to a display part of an electronic watthour meter which integrates and digitally displays a consumption amount of power, a magnetic flux detect part 12 for detecting a magnetic flux generated by a signal current injected to an electric wiring by a transmitter, and a level detect part 17 for detecting a level of signals outputted from the pulse detect part 13 or magnetic flux detect part 12. An emission state of measured pulse signals of the watthour meter can be checked by the driving of an LED lamp 18 and a buzzer 9 based on an output of the level detect part 17, and also a breaker or electric wiring route can be investigated.
