PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generator which can be manufactured at a low cost and in which the integral rotation of a driving shaft with a rotor can be certainly secured during operation, and also which can attempt compatibility between assembling easiness and durability. SOLUTION: A driving shaft 8 is constructed of iron-based metal. A rotor 9 comprises a rotor body part 9a constructed of metal containing aluminum for shearing silicon oil SO, and an iron-based metal bush 9b which is inserted in the rotor body 9a and fixed on the driving shaft 8 while it is positioned by being abutted on the inner ring 7a of a bearing device 7. In this case, at least a clearanceΔexists between the rotor body 9a and the inner ring 7a of the bearing device 7, so that thermal expansion is allowed.
