PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scooter type motorcycle capable of improving maneuvering stability by centralization of a center of gravity position, improving high speed traveling stability by locating the center of gravity at the center of the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, narrowing a width of a floor and effectively utilizing space under a seat. SOLUTION: Within a body cover, an engine 32 and a V-belt transmission 32 are stored under a tunnel part 30a and a seat 21a and are suspended on a frame 20, at least a part of a cylinder heat 32a and a cylinder 32b of the engine 32 is arranged under space 14 for entering a foot in a side view, and rotary motion parts such as a crank shaft 32c, the V-belt transmission 34 and a balancer shaft 36 are arranged on a lower part of a seat 12a for rider.
