PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diet method which enables a user to carry out adequate diet in a planned manner. SOLUTION: The rhythm of the living body is divided to at least three periods; a menstrual period, follicular phase and luteal phase. When carrying out the diet, the user specifies to which period of the rhythm of the living body the user corresponds. The diet is controlled by determining the time corresponding to the menstrual period as a diet preparation period, the time corresponding to the follicular phase as a diet start period and the time corresponding to the luteal phase as a diet continuation period and a diet pause period.
