PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a demagnetizing coil of a demagnetizer for a building structure that permits an efficient and prompt demagnetizing operation while reducing the cost of the device as a whole, by forming a magnetic field in parallel with the surface of the building structure to remove a residual magnetic field on the building structure. SOLUTION: In a demagnetizing coil 1 of a demagnetizing device for a building structure, a conductor 5 is wound in a flat or swirling form or is connected in parallel with a flat surface such that a magnetic field is formed in parallel with a surface of the building structure, which generates a fault magnetic field. Damped oscillation current passes through the conductor 5. The demagnetizing coil allows a direction of an appearing oscillating magnetic field 11 to conform to an orientational direction of magnetized reinforcing bars 13. Thus, a magnetic flux for demagnetization is more likely to pass therein. |
