PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly form a toner image on a developing roll with simple constitution by bringing a magnetic brush formed on a magnet body into contact with a magnetic brush formed on a magnetic roll. SOLUTION: A supply blade 6 carries toner in a toner hopper 5 to the magnet body 12 on the magnetic roll 3 side. Carrier being toner carrying magnetic powder is arranged around the roll 3. The magnetic brush 13 is formed by attracting developer 9 to the outer peripheral surface of the magnet body 12, and the magnetic brush 10 is formed by attracting the developer 9 to the outer peripheral surface of the roll 3. At such a time, the brush 10 on the roll 3 comes in contact with the brush 13 on the magnet body 12 while the roll 3 is rotating, whereby the toner is forcibly fed to the brush 10 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the roll 3. Therefore, stirring the toner and the carrier is accelerated and the completely mixed developer 9 is produced. |
