PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable damping characteristics by eliminating a control flow of intermittent hydraulic oil occasioned by a temperature change as damping characteristics at a low speed area are improved and damping characteristics at a high speed area are suppressed. SOLUTION: This buffer comprises damping valves 36 and 37 for a low speed area wherein damping force generating valves 4 and 5 in the respective directions of elongation pressures in a piston and a base valve are situated in juxtaposition; and two damping force generating valves for damping valves 40 and 41 for middle and high speed areas. Besides, the valves 4 and 5 on the elongation side and on the pressure side are constituted such that the damping valves 36 and 37 for a low speed area consisting of inner peripheral fixed bending plates 34 and 35 to close oil-through holes 26 and 27 formed in fixing plates 28 and 29 and the damping valves 40 and 41 for middle and high speed areas consisting of inner and outer peripheral support bending plates 38 and 39 are combined together. Further, by simply constituting such that the inner and outer peripheral support bending plates 38 and 39 of which the damping valves 40 and 41 for middle and high speed areas consist are nipped between the fixing plates 28 and 29 for the damping valves 36 and 37 for a low speed area and a piston body or a base valve body to exert an initial load, stable characteristics are provided. |
