摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make outputtable the residual capacity of a battery according to the usage state of the battery by obtaining the total discharge capacity up to a discharge stop voltage which corresponds to a discharge current value at the present or which is closest to it by a first data storage means and obtaining an integrated discharge amount which corresponds to the discharge current value at the present by a second data storage means. SOLUTION: A first data storage means and a second data storage means are installed. The total discharge capacity up to a discharge stop voltage which is changed according to a discharge current value can be referred to by the first data storage means by using a discharge current value at this time. On the basis of a discharge current value at the present, the total discharge capacity at this time is estimated. The calculation error of an integrated discharge amount is reduced by the second data storage means. An integrated discharge amount at a specific voltage is found. The residual amount of a discharge electric charge is calculated by the integrated discharge amount and the total discharge capacity. Consequently, the residual amount according to a discharge current at every moment can be calculated with higher accuracy and dynamically. Thereby, the remaining time of this charging battery can be detected with high accuracy, and the usage efficiency of the charging battery can be enhanced.
