PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light receiving sensor which suppresses stray light generated by incidence of light from the side surfaces of a filter or from the peripheral part and the side surfaces of a light receiving element. SOLUTION: This is a light receiving sensor 1 provided with a plurality of photodiodes 3 arranged on a board 4 discretely one-dimensionally in the scattering direction of monochromatic light, and filters 5 arranged along the scattering direction of the monochromatic light so as to have different light transmitting characteristics so as to approach or touch the planes of light incidence of the photodiodes. The sensor is so constituted that incident light from the side surfaces of the filters may not be able to reach the photodiodes, by setting the distance from a side surface of the outermost filter up to a photodiode larger than a length computed by tF×tan[90 deg.-sin-1 n0×sin(90 deg.-θ0)/nF}] (tF: the distance from the photodiode surface to the upper surface of the filter, n0: the refractive index of the atmosphere around the filter,θ0: the angle between incident light and the light receiving sensor, nF: the refractive index of the filter).
