PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an apparatus compact and print at a high speed by making an ink storage part to be loaded on a carriage small and light-weight. SOLUTION: A second storage part 20 and a liquid feed pipe 14 constituted in one body are reciprocated up and down by a cam 26. At a position indicated in the drawing, a liquid feed nozzle 24 and a liquid detect member 23 press to open a liquid take port door 25 of a first storage part 13 so that liquid can be replenished to the storage part 13. After the replenishment preparation is completed, a control valve 19 is freed to let the liquid flow into the first storage part 13. At the same time, the liquid detect member 23 transmits a liquid recognition signal to a controller through a liquid detect signal transmission line 15 when the liquid touches the liquid detect member 23. The control valve 19 is shut at an appropriate time. When the liquid feed nozzle 24 is added to a plurality of points, the liquid can be replenished at a position nearest to a carriage 12. |
