摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the loss of a sample by pumping liquid from the sample vessel of a sample to a column by one fixed quantity injector and from the storage vessel of a developing solvent to the column and sharing a pumping passage. SOLUTION: The fixed quantity injector 20 of a sample filling part provides a flow inlet 20a and a flow outlet 20b on the head member 42 of the upper end of a syringe 30 housing a piston 34, and a groove 20c connecting them is opened on the lower face of the head member 42. When the piston 34 is lifted to be contacted on the lower face of the head member 42, the lower openings of the flow inlet 20a, the flow outlet 20b and the groove 20c are closed, and the flow inlet 20a and the flow outlet 20b form a short-circuited flow passage 20d short-circuiting through the groove 20c. The piston 34 is lowered to suck the sample in the inside of the syringe 30, a fixed quantity of the sample is stored, the piston 34 is lifted to push out the sample, an air layer is removed by the changeover of a liquid surface sensor and a rotary valve, after only the sample is injected into a column, the short-circuited passage 20d is passed at the position of the upper limit of the piston 34, and a developing solvent is injected into the column.
