Control of filling of vehicle with petrol for physically handicapped customers uses voice commands and delivers signals to petrol distribution pump to control its operation

The filling system has a controller (20) which responds to voice commands issued by the customer who remains seated in their vehicle (12). The controller translates the voice commands and delivers them to a petrol distribution pump (22) to control its operation. An audio communication system is provided to allow the customer to communicate with the attendant at the petrol station.
