PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of an after burn when an engine is restarted by unburned fuel left in a cylinder and an exhaust pipe of the engine when it is stopped. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an ignition circuit 1 operated with a generating coil 6a in a magneto driven by an internal combustion engine serving as a power source, a stop command switch 3, a solenoid valve 4 stopping supply of fuel to the engine when the stop command switch 3 is closed, and an engine stop circuit 5 for stopping operation of the ignition circuit 1 when the stop command switch 3 is closed. The engine stop circuit 5 is constituted by an ignition action stopping switch 9 short-circuiting the generating coil in the case of conduction to stop the engine and a drive circuit 10 starting time limit action when the stop command switch 3 is closed to conduct the switch 9 when the time limit action is completed.
