<p>An article degreasing and washing method for washing those unwashed articles (26) such as small machine parts, capable of maintaining the considerations for environment without using any solvent such as trichloroethylene, preventing adverse effects of high temperature on those unwashed articles such as small machine parts and printed circuit boards, using a simple system configuration, and reducing a running cost, comprising the steps of feeding water into a closable steam generating container (2), heating water contained in the steam generating container (2) by a heater (13) and vacuating the steam generating container to a negative pressure by a vacuum pump (5) to generate low temperature steam, and feeding the low temperature steam into a washing container (3) storing and holding the unwashed articles (26) therein and decompressed to a negative pressure so as to inject the steam from nozzles (26), whereby the unwashed articles can be degreased and washed by steam flow.</p> |
