<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire covering device automatically inserting a cover tubular body such as a slender insulating fine-core tube to a wire such as the flexible lead wire of an electric wire coil. SOLUTION: A lead wire 3a or 3b is surrounded by pinch bodies 7a, 8a, 7b, 8b to adjust its posture, chucks 30a, 30b cutting and holding a fine-core tube 32 to be inserted are rotated and moved in the inserting direction of the tube 32, and the fine-core tube 32 is inserted smoothly and automatically while the lead wire 3a or 3b is prevented from falling by an interlocking drive mechanism slidingly retreating the pinch bodies 7a, 8a, 7b, 8b toward the root direction of the lead wire 3a or 3b.</p> |
