<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax a stringency on the number of port numbers of a host layer of a speech packet by separating the port numbers of a sender for the speech packet and the connection control packet. SOLUTION: A VoIP(voice over internet protocol) address setting system of a getaway connecting a telephone network to the Internet is provided with a gatekeeper 13, that manages a cross-reference between a telephone number and a connection control IP address of the gateway on the Internet and uses the telephone number to inquire a connection destination gateway about its IP address, in the case of calling the gateway of the connection destination, a connection control circuit 9 that sets the connection control IP address of a sender to a connection control packet sent to the gatekeeper and the gateway of the connection destination and sets a port number of a host layer for a plurality of simultaneous inquiries and calls, and a speech circuit 7 that sets the speech IP address of the sender to the speech packet sent to the gateway of the connection destination, by using the connection control circuit and sets the port number of the host layer for a plurality of and simultaneous speeches.</p> |
