摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molded article having excellent heat conductivity in the direction of arbitrarily oriented fiber by applying a magnetic field to a polymer composition containing a polybenzazol short fiber and orienting the short fiber in the same direction and solidifying the same. SOLUTION: The length of a polybenzazol short fiber is preferably 3 mm or less. The polybenzazol short fiber is contained at 0.1-50 pts.wt. in 100 pts.wt. of a polymer. The kind of the polymer is not specifically limited and selected according to the properties to be achieved. For example, thermoplastic resins, thermoplastic elastomers, thermosetting resins and crosslinked rubbers are used. The means of generating a magnetic field used as an external magnetic field may be a permanent magnetic, an electromagnet or a coil and a magnetic flux density of 0.05-30 tesla can cause orientation of the short fiber. However, since a weakly anisotropic susceptibility of the short fiber is used, the short fiber is oriented in a higher magnetic field atmosphere of, for example, 0.5 tesla or more before solidification of the polymer.
