PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit added value information by an information center to a radio base station through satellite communication and to provide the added value information by the radio base station to a portable telephone set irrelevantly to whether the portable telephone set is busy or not by using a notification channel. SOLUTION: The information center 1 sends the added value information I to a communication satellite 2, which receives the added value information I from the information center 1 and sends it to the ground; and the radio base station 3 receives and stores the information I from the communication satellite 2 and broadcasts it to the portable telephone set 4 by using the notification channel C, so that the portable telephone set 4 receives the notification channel C from the radio base station 3 and outputs the added value information I. |
