Said method consists in reacting a salt of sulfinic acid comprising a carbon in sulfur-alpha which includes at least two fluorine atoms with a chlorinating reagent in a(n) (aqueous) medium with a bromide ion content of less than 2g/l, advantageously 1g/l.
