PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorgainsm-producing device which can effectively culture sludge generated in a sewage-treating facility by the combination of humus with far IR light-radiating stones, has a simple structure and can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: This device for culturing microorganisms contained in sludge is obtained by downward extending a plurality of support legs from a frame-like body 8, dividing the frame-like body 8 with horizontal porous plates 6 to form three or more ventilation chambers 7, disposing a gas diffuser 9 below the frame-like body 8, thinly charging humus x formed in a pellet-like shape in at least the second and third ventilation chambers 7 from the lower side among the ventilation chambers 7, while leaving spaces in the upper portions of the chambers, and thinly charging granular stones radiating far IR light in the lowest ventilation chamber 7 among the ventilation chamber 7, while leaving a space in the upper portion of the chamber.
