PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet FAX that can print out image data in FAX data by an Internet FAX when the Internet FAX connected to a LAN acquires the FAX data addressed to itself and inform a PC connected to the LAN about the reception of the FAX data. SOLUTION: The Internet FAX connected to the LAN to which the PC is also connected is provided with a means that prints out only an attached image when the Internet FAX receives the FAX data consisting of a mail text and the attached image and addressed to itself and with a means that transfers the mail text to the PC when the Internet FAX receives the FAX data consisting of the mail text and the attached image and addressed to itself.
