<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing collosion when turning to the right by which it is correctly judged whether turning to the right is possible or not even when a straight oncoming vehicle is not grasped owing to the shape of a road or its existence behind an oncoming vehicle or even when the speed of the oncoming vehicle is higher than that a driver judges and a vehicle is stopped to prevent the occurrence of a collision when it turns to the right. SOLUTION: The system is for preventing the collision in turning to the right and is provided with an oncoming vehicle detecting means, a road surface situation detecting means, a database means, a vehicle position detecting means, a vehicle state detecting means, a judgement processing means for selecting information providing to the driver, alarm or the control of a right turning vehicle base on vehicle information from the oncoming vehicle detecting means, road surface information from the road surface situation detecting means, road linear information from the database means, its own vehicle position information from the vehicle position detecting means, and its own vehicle information from the vehicle station detecting means, an information output part for providing information or issuing alarm to the driver and a vehicle control means for controlling the traveling of its vehicle.</p> |
