PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize appropriate permission/inhibition control concerned with the copy/move of contents. SOLUTION: Identification information for identifying a case that contents recorded in a prescribed kind of recording medium are directly transferred and recorded and a case that contents recorded in the prescribed classification of recording medium are temporarily recorded in a recording medium with a large capacity, and then transferred and recorded from the recording medium with a large capacity is recorded in a recording medium corresponding to contents to be recorded. Also, the identification information can identify whether the recorded contents are copy recording or move recording from the recording medium with a large capacity. In a recording device and a recording and reproducing system, validity/invalidity is controlled according to the classification of the origin of copy, that is, the prescribed classification of recording medium or the recording medium with a large capacity. |
