The device for forming a hole in a fluid conduit and for fitting a component in the conduit comprises a drive shaft (47) and a tool part for rotary processing of the conduit cover surface. A tubular abutment piece connects in a sealed manner against the conduit cover surface and a valve (65) is releasably fitted on the tubular abutment piece. A sealing bush (33) is connected to the valve either directly or via an extension part. The bush or the extension part (46) has a hollow space for containing the hole producing tool and the component to be fitted in the conduit. The component is activated by the drive shaft and moved axially by it for sealed fixture to the tubular abutment piece.
