PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive protective fence which can easily be built without needing an expertise and can surely obstruct the invasion of mild animals and so on. SOLUTION: This protective fence in which net-like members 2(2a, 2b) are stretched around through supports 1, 1, ... disposed at a prescribed distance, is characterized in that the net-like members 2(2a, 2b) are formed from flat, net-like, expandable metal plates each having a prescribed shape and size, whereby the characteristics of the lightweight and durable expandable metal mesh structure are utilized to give a structure especially suitable for obstructing wild animals and so on in a farm land.
