PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel plate coated with a transparent fluororesin having high film hardness, and excellent in wear resistance, processibility, coating film adhesion strength and finger printing stain-proofness by addition of a flaky inorganic additive and a polytetrafluoroethylene powder in combination. SOLUTION: This stainless steel plate is coated with a transparent fluororesin in which 1-30 mass % of a flaky inorganic additive having an average particle size of 10-200μm and 1-30 mass % of a polytetrafluoroethylene powder having an average particle size of 0.1-40μm are dispersed. As the base resin of the transparent fluororesin, a mixture of a thermoplastic acrylic resin and a poly(vinylidene fluoride) resin in (20/80)-(50/50) weight ratio can be used. Glass flakes can preferably be used as the flaky inorganic additive.
