<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket that can simply mount and replace electronic parts such as a package module integrated with semiconductor chip or the like and has a compact size. SOLUTION: In a metal plate shape of body 4 of a socket 1, elastic fitting legs 4a being fitted temporarily into holes 2b in a board 2, tongues 4b soldered to a fixing pad 2c in the board 2, and elastic holding pieces 6 having pawls 6a engaged to a shoulder of a package module 3 are mounted. A holder 5 made from synthetic resin of an electric conductive contact with 5 is molded integrally with the plate shape of body. The socket is fixed to the board by soldering and also a mounting of the package module and an exchange for version up- grading can become easily by the elastic holding pieces. Further, strength is increased by two-layers structure of the metal plate shaped body and the holder made from synthetic resin, a compact size of the holder (socket) can be accomplished.</p> |
