PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet device which is reliably supplied with ink tablets. SOLUTION: The ink-jet device has an ink reservoir and a dispenser for ink pellets. The dispenser has a sluice gate for delivering the ink pellets one after one to the ink reservoir, an output chamber for housing one ink pellet supplied from the sluice gate, and a shutter for opening/closing the output chamber toward the ink reservoir.
