PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely transmit drive with a simple structure and with a saved space. SOLUTION: A drive transmitting device is provided with a drive source 2 and a drive transmitting system 3 for transmitting a drive force from the drive source 2 to a body to be rotated 1. The drive transmitting system 3 is provided with a fixed drive transmission gear 4 for transmitting driving force from the drive source 2 around the fixed rotational center, a floating drive transmission gear 5 held so as to be freely floated in relation to the radial direction of the fixed drive transmission gear 4 and to be moved between a regular set position S0, in which gear tooth are completely meshed with the fixed drive transmission gear 4 and a temporary set position S1 in which the gear tooth are meshed incompletely with it, and a connecting mechanism 6 provided between the floating drive transmission gear 5 and a rotary shaft 1a of the body to be rotated 1 and for forcibly moving the floating drive transmission gear 5 from the temporary set position S1 to the regular seat position S0, under the conditions in which the body to be rotated 1 is mounted in the predetermined mounting position and for engaging and connecting the floating drive transmission gear 5 and the body to be rotated to each other.
