PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit heat sufficient for securely subliming an ink for an image on a plate material sheet onto the surface of a pad section and improve the printing quality of a sublimation transfer printer. SOLUTION: A sublimation printer 10 is provided with a plurality of pad members 6, one supporting member 18 for fixingly supporting the pad members 16 and a heat source 20 for heating the pad members 16 and the supporting member 18. Each of pad members 16 is provided with a base 22 fixed on the supporting member 18 and a pad section 24 fixingly connected with the base 22 and is flexible than the base 22. The heat source 20 is provided with one main body 28 set on the back 18b of the supporting member 18 and a plurality of extended sections 30 extended from the main body 28, running through the supporting member 18 and brought into contact with respectively a plurality of pad members 16. Respective extension sections 30 of the heat source 20 are protruded out of a main surface 18a of the supporting member 18 and inserted through the pad sections 24 of respective pad members 16.
