PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matters accumulation preventing device capable of preventing the accumulation on a receiving edge for foreign matters contained in draining in a grating ditch cover borne by a pair of receiving edges providing both side edges to the upper parts of both side walls in a water channel and covered by the water channel. SOLUTION: A coated member 12 for covering receiving edges 9 and 9 is placed to both side edges 10 and 10 of a grating ditch cover 1, and foreign matters such as small dirt, sludge or the like contained in draining are prevented from being accumulated on the receiving edges 9 by coating operation of the coated member 12.
