KNEE STRAINING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A device for straining knees is provided to reduce the danger of a passenger due to a load distribution plate by having a withdrawing element which pulls the load distribution plate from a restraining position to a starting position. CONSTITUTION: A device for straining knees includes a load distribution plate(3) directly contacting knees of a passenger, and a driving element such as a gas back(13) disposed between the load distribution plate and a dash board(5) for moving the load distribution plate from a starting position to a knee restraining position when restraining the knees, wherein the knee restraining device further includes a tracking element for recovering the load distribution plate from the restraining position to the starting position.
